Back and ready for summer portraits season after our ah-mazing vacation!

My family and I sure had fun over the past 12 days of summer vacation, seeing some iconic sights, including the drive through Monument Valley on the the way toward Grand Canyon. We are kind of into National Parks and road tripping when possible…old school! Though we flew to LasVegas to get started, we logged 1600 miles on the rental car and checked off 5 National Parks (Zion, Bryce, Arches, Capitol Reef & Grand Canyon) as well as a couple drive by’s (Antelope Canyon & Glen Canyon Dam/Lake Powell). We tend to need a vacation from our vacations, but I think I’ve finally caught up on my rest and I’m ready to rock these High School Senior and other summer sessions. Here we go!

I won’t inundate you with pictures just yet. Too many pictures, too little time. Such a great and memorable trip. I also learned that I’m more afraid of heights than I remember. Or more specifically, I’m afraid of my KIDS being around heights. They were so done with me by Grand Canyon….lol. Kudos to my husband for his extraordinary trip planning skills. He’s better than any travel agent or even Trip Advisor!
