An afternoon with Tanner…
Tanner from East Ridge High School is up next for a Class of 2019 focus senior send off. Tanner and his mom joined me in several different spots in Hudson on a warm, summer afternoon.
Tanner humored me with several clothing changes and lots of varied posing. Always love it when the senior boys want their mom’s opinion. She even found us a spot I hadn’t noticed before…good eye! We also worked in some outdoor hockey shots to add to his collection for all of his years of playing. He’s got a killer smile and a killer game face.
I knew it would be a fun afternoon, having worked with Tanner’s mom a few years ago for his brother’s senior portraits. Pretty sure I say this every time, but it really is fun to work with siblings. Even when I don’t know a family well, I can STILL catch some similarities and differences which is fun for a photographer mom with two boys herself. (Don’t tell him I told you, Drew, but he really does think you’re alright)
A final Focus Send Off…
As usual, I’ll close with some sage advice from my favorite song for seniors…
“May you be as fascinating as a slap bracelet.
May you keep the chaos and the clutter off your desk. May you have unquestionable health and less stress. Having no possessions though immeasurable wealth.“
– Jason Mraz
Best wishes, Tanner…
All the best to you as you close in on these last few months of District 833 education. I look forward to hearing what you’ll be up to next!
