Hey Drew…let’s do this!
Our next Class of 2019 Senior Send Off is, again, someone who grew up right in front of my eyes. Just 13 years ago, he was walking down our street to the bus top, heading to kindergarten. Please say hello to Drew from East Ridge High School!
Drew and his mom joined me for a tour around the Union Depot/Harriet Island side of St. Paul on a very warm summer day. The architectural things you can find in that area of the twin cities is awesome. I enjoyed catching up with them. It is so fun for me when senior boys are sweet with their mamas and we grab some laughter along the way.
When I think of Drew, I think “confident, friendly, athlete”. Always kind to the neighborhood kids, always playing hockey or basketball or baseball in the street & driveways. Thank you, Drew, for a fun afternoon and for setting a good example to those around you.
